About the Pavillon Montesquiou, I write a litte
detail below.
Now I am very busy and this situation will continue at least until the end of this summer.
So I will not answer your message quickly.

I went to Versailles last year for seeing the exposition “Versailles, vie artistique, litteraire et mondaine 1889-1939” at Lambinet museum.
I had known the address of “Pavillon Montesquiou”, so I asked its site at the information desk of Versailles.
There was near from the station of RER & buastop “Pochefontaine”.
At that time someone lived there and I chouldn’t enter inside, but from the outside of the grill, I could look at the exterior of the pavillon which Montesquiou loved.
And also I made sure the place of conservatory that a Japanese gardener had kept .
If you want to know about more detailes of the exterior and the gate, there is descriptions in his biography by Philippe Julien( I don’t have English one.).
Next time I want to go to his grave, to meet the silent angel and put flowers on his grave at Versailles.

[About your question of the conservatory]
Montesquiou was known as one of the opinion leader of "Japonism" at that time.
And he hired a japanese gardener who had gone over to France for keeping up the japanese gargen of Japan Pavillion at the Universal exposition in 1889.
At the Pavillon Montesquiou of Versailles,
he had a conservatory in japanese style and for keeping it he hired Wasuke(gardener's name).
I have seen a photo of Wasuke at his conservatory.
But until this trip, I didn't know where had been situated.
So I wrote "... also I made sure the place of conservatory that a Japanese gardener had kept "
As you pointed out it seems that the Pavillon is a privae property.

Are you interested in the Japonism ?
Montesquiou had a lot of face.
What kind of his face is your favorate?
(For example: a poet, a critic, a japanophile or a patron of arts....)

Recently I saw a photo of Le Conte having a bat in a Japanese book about Galle. I wrote a little about the book on my Porcelain sugar BBS. It is in Japanese but you can see the top page of the Galle's book.

I understand a little about you from your writing, thank you. At first let me apologise my doubt that you are a teenager who want to make his website only with other persons' documents without mentioning the provenance. I cannot find any personality of you from your e-mails even from the last years.

But your words of "I even think that is a funny point to ask somebody when we know by ourselves that a lot of talented people don't have any major degree." 　It's of Le Conte that the word conjures up an image!

Thank you for your proposal for my plates. But about the Boldini's, few years have passed after the drawing, I hesitated the position should be something wrong. I used a small picture for my help with which I could not understand whether he paralleled or crossed his legs. With the page advised by you he paralleled. So, he should curve his upper body more. I want to draw it again later.

Anyway, please make your website as soon as possible. Also please tell about your ideas on this BBS to enjoy discussing (Why you are intersted in Le Conte's family? ). Junko is very busy now but she will reply when she can do it.
